What is Pilates?
Pilates is a mindful movement system that emphasizes strength, stability, and control. Whether you’re looking to improve posture, recover from injury, support your daily movement, or simply feel stronger and more connected, Pilates offers a functional, full-body approach that meets you where you are and grows with you.
Originally developed by Joseph Pilates, this method can be practiced on mat or using specialized equipment like the Reformer, Tower, Chairs, and more. These apparatuses use spring resistance to both support and challenge the body— guiding you toward better alignment, balance, and body awareness.
What to expect in a session?
In a private session, we'll use a combination of Pilates apparatus (reformer, tower, chairs, or mat) to support and challenge your body in a balanced, functional way. I will guide you through mindful movement, focusing on alignment, breath, and muscle engagement to help you move better and feel stronger.
In a duet session, you’ll share the experience with a partner. Whether that’s a friend or another client with similar goals. Each person still receives individual attention, and the session is structured so both participants work at their own level while enjoying the energy of moving together.
